Please mark your calendars and spread the word that the 2020 Latino Role Model Conference will be on Saturday February 1, 2020! Each year, the Latino Role Model Conference provides an exciting opportunity for students and their families to hear from Latino engineers, writers, scientists, artists, elected leaders, and other professionals.

This year, award winning author Reyna Grande will be the keynote speaker. Ms. Grande’s recent book, Distance Between Us, was awarded the Américas Award for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Each student who attends will receive a copy of her book. To learn more about Ms. Grande and her work, visit www.reynagrande.com.

This event is FREE for students in grade 6 through college, and their families. Lunch will be provided for all attendees. The event will be in Spanish with English translation.
